An idea is always formed first in the mind and then transferred to the paper before it is reconstructed in the computer.
Just as for the Amazing Kids logo it is client’s desire to have an image of a mother giraffe and baby giraffe’s necks formed into a heart shape which is symbolic of parental love and raising up of young leaders for this children educational center. Giraffe speaks of leadership character.

Been a really hard at work this month and seriously need a good break but not so soon until all is over and done. I can only afford a short one for now, today, so I decided to do something to break the ice before getting back to work again.
This is it! I am taking some time off to talk about this project I am curently embarking on – Wheatgrass Project… LOL. What on earth would I want to grow wheatgrass?! Not something I thought of doing but it all started when I visited the petshop in my neighbourhood recently and stumbled upon this box of instant DIY wheatgrass growing kit. I thought it was funny as it is meant for cats! I do not know what struck me at the time but the next thing I thought to myself was, why not?? Why not give it a try?! Life is too short not to try something new, right? I mean, I have seen my cat, Bebe, eat grass outside the house compound before but I really have no idea how much she would approve this idea of home-grown wheatgrass! If she is not going to eat it I will keep it to myself then! Nothing to lose, really.
Day 1 : Preparing the ground and welcome the seed of greatness

Got the ‘ground’ ready in the plastic tray and down all the wheatgrass seed.

Based on the scripture verse in John 4:24 that reads, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth” I have come up with the ’Worship Him in spirit & in truth’ tee design. It is experimental for now. Three variations – A, B and C.
A and B are basically using the same design elements and typography arrangement. The only difference is in the colours of the tee and the print.
A – one colour printing; charcoal grey ink on cream and sand tee colour. This combination is not too loud but subtle.

B – also one colour printing; reversed white design print on red and dark brown tee colour. This combination is bold.

C – a slightly improved and refined version of the design and typography arrangement. More than one colour printing on black and white tee colour.

Which among these three design options would you most preferred? Do leave some feedback or suggestions.

A surprise Christmas gift from a good friend who gave me a pair of pink and white striped pajamas! Sometime ago I was hoping to find myself a pair like this and since I am quite a lazy shopper I never got around to find one. And I did not expect that I would get this lovely pair this Christmas. Now, I have a new working attire for the new year! I am a proud designer-in-pajamas! Thanks you, boss!

Hang it like you hang a real working suit.

See that Apple mouse? The pajamas belongs to a designer.

My Mum has always complained that I wet the floor too much whenever I mop it and that might cause her to slip (which never happened). So I decided to get my hands dirty and made this sign with whatever materials I found at the back of the house. I asked Mum to write the word of ‘wet’ in Chinese for me without telling her why I wanted it for. When this sign was done Dad saw it and commented that the right Chinese word should have been ‘slippery’ instead of ‘wet’. I argued that it was supposed to be a warning that the floor was wet and that we should walk slowly, thus the snail picture. Then Dad replied, “Snails love wet places even more”. I do not know if his statement about snails was relevant to the topic we were arguing on but I thought it was funny and it cracked me up

Was doing some product shots recently and I decided to make my FM2n do this stunt. Camera body (plus the lens) and straps were shot as per see. Nikon logo was then montaged into the background.

This was something I did for a car windscreen sticker way back in the year 2000, and only managed to retrieve the original file successful from the CD using my friend’s PowerMac. My MacBook Pro could not read the CD due to the sensitivity of CD-Rom drive, I think.

Too many times there are unwelcome guests who have tried to open my room door thinking that my room is the toilet. I have made this second sign to stick it on my room door.
