When I was nine

… I drew some cartoon characters.

Today, when I was looking through a pile of old drawings I have been keeping in an old briefcase for many years since school days I found some drawings that I could have never remembered I ever did. One of them is this Miss Bunny who was supposed to look like Bugs Bunny of Looney Toons but did not turn out anything close.

And I also found Ernie of Sesame Street too.

Oh by the way, the art tutor’s comment on my Miss Bunny’s ears – “too short”. Hahaha…

What I did to the pomelos and bonsai

Yesterday was the eve of Chinese New Year and I was given two tasks by my dad – first one, draw a rabbit on a pomelo and second, paint his bonsai plant golden.

This is what has become of the little pomelo hanging on the tree. Now waiting to greet guests who come visit us.

And his hand painted golden bonsai.
